The 3 Baddest Bandits of the Wild, Wild West

The stories of three terrible cowfolk, each told in a unique, interactive sliding parallax format!

Chapter 2: Sue McGoo, the Lassoo Lass (illustrated by Arran McKenna)
Chapter 3: Tobacco Joe from Marlboro (illustrated by Ben Hutchings)

This picture book was written by me (Ben ), and developed in 2012 for a special pop-up-book emulator called a Picklet, created by Stewart Haines.  

Stories designed for Picklet were to be controlled by a slider, which moved elements of the pages around! A simple, but very cool concept. 

I chose to design each page of my children's book to be a side scrolling, parallax scene, and approached my telanted friends Jase and Arran to help draw a chapter each.  

Just recently, Stewart managed to convert our book to EPUB format, so you can enjoy them over ten years later!
